Stress & Depression

Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous. Stress is your body's reaction to a challenge or demand. In short bursts, stress can be positive, such as when it helps you avoid danger or meet a deadline.  Our bodies are designed to handle small doses of stress. But, we are not equipped to handle long-term, chronic stress without ill consequences.  Stress can cause an array of symptoms in the body including headaches, digestive issues, insomnia, depression, poor judgment and even Cancer.  This one is close to home for me. I'm a Breast Cancer 9 year Survivor and I know that it was my stress that caused my Cancer, no doubt about it.  I have found that CranioSacral Therapy has been my go to Therapy.  It helped me through the stress of my divorce, the lost of my nephew, my cross country relocation of my business and so much more.
